Access.
Use your own sign-in and keep your authenticator and recovery codes secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and on a device you control. The web workspace requires primary sign-in and an authenticator check.
Recordings.
Only record conversations when everyone involved knows about and agrees to the recording. You are responsible for the permissions you need to capture, edit and publish a particular clip. Recording and publication are separate choices.
playbakk records your own camera and microphone by default, and captures a call only through the browser or operating-system window you choose to share. The other person is excluded by default: their face, window and turns are removed from your clips. Including them requires their explicit consent, given through a consent link you send them. Do not include anyone who has not agreed, and stop using their part of a clip if they withdraw. The acceptable use policy forms part of these terms.
Recording laws differ. Some US states and some countries require every participant to consent before a conversation is recorded, and publication may need further permission. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you and to the people you record. [Requires counsel review.]
Content and export.
You choose what to record and keep your rights to your original material. playbakk does not automatically post your video. Review picture, speech, captions and context for personal or confidential details before distributing an export.
Availability.
Features depend on your device, browser and operating system. Browser media storage can be cleared or evicted. Download copies you need. The desktop package requires a developer setup; signed installers, mobile capture, cloud AI and subscriptions are not part of the current release.
Account controls.
You can revoke verified browser sessions and delete your playbakk profile in account settings. Deletion does not remove files downloaded or stored on other devices. Privacy explains what the service and your browser keep, who processes it and your rights; the cookie policy lists what is stored on your device.
Paid plans.
Paid plans are not yet available. When they launch, cancellation, the UK and EU 14-day cooling-off period and refunds will work as set out in refunds and cancellation. [Requires counsel review.]
